Fagu

Fagu is a serene snow-clad hamlet. It is located around a 45-minute drive from Shimla. It is well known for its apple plantations, sowing fields, and the snow-covered Himalayas in the backdrop. This place is enveloped by lush green pine trees. You can sight many apple trees are also located here, which are adorned with rich red apples. You can also sight animals like snow leopards, yaks and ponies that are occupant of Fagu. It is a attractive place for nature lovers. Fagu word is a modified version of Falgu. The word of falgu means in English handsome, beautiful and fine. It is popular among Jain poets. All the poets are generally monks. It starts with sensual sentiments and ends with a retraction or self stiffness.
