Prashar Lake
Prashar Lake is a beautiful place near Mandi. It is 50 km far away from Mandi. The lake is located at the height of 2730 m above sea level. It is a freshwater lake. It holds a saintly position there. Bounded by mighty Dhauladhar ranges in Kullu Valley this place is full of mystic charm.
If you want to make some memories, So, you visiting this Lake is a must. Because this lake is frozen in winters but dazzles throughout the remaining year. Its charismatic beauty the lake is famed for its three-storied temples. These three-storied temples dedicated to the sage Prashar.
Surrounded by the Dhauladhar ranges in Kullu Valley is a blue-water lake called Prashar. This Lake is a well-kept secret in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. Its trek follows a charming trail through a forest and several rivulets.
Meanwhile, one can enjoy the local culture as the trail goes through villages as well. The trek offers a 180 degree view of the Dhauladhar, Pir Panjal and Kinnaur mountain ranges.
Best Time To Visit Prashar Lake Trek
During winters (December – February) is a good time to visit if you enjoy the snow. The place is almost freezing during the winters covered under a thick blanket of snow. You can see snow from the last week of December till mid-March.
